Spectacular Old English Sheepdog Raku votive. The picture doesn't do this piece justice; every time we bring them to a dog show, we quickly sell out.
Each votive is hand made, the Old English Sheepdog is etched on the votive, and the votive is fired in the special process that brings out the spectacular color splashes that raku pottery is known for. No two are alike; the colors can range from brillant oranges, iridescent purples, blues, and greens to metallic peaches and reds.
We usually carry a reasonable depth of these votives. However, if we've recently been to a dog show, our stores are likely depleted. If this is the case, it can take up to 4 weeks to deliver. If you need your piece on a faster timeline, please call the shop to see if the votive is in stock, or to see if we can ask the potter to put a rush on the order.
